The Memorization category focuses on strengthening your connection to the words of Allah through memorization. Participating in this category helps refine your memorization skills and  deepen your understanding of the Quran to increase your level in Jannah.

What is the Quran Booster Level?

The level open to participants of all ages! Each year, this level focuses on a new surah, building on the one memorized in the previous year

It’s a fantastic way to steadily progress in your memorization journey or review what you’ve already learned, one surah at a time. Evaluation Criteria

Our evaluations are conducted by a panel of highly experienced judges to ensure fairness and accuracy, based on the following criteria:


Proficient memorization of the Surah/Surahs of their respective level. Marks can be deducted for mispronunciation or simply stopping in the middle of reading even if the judges do not interfere.


Correctly following the rules Tajweed throughout their recitation. This includes saying the Isti’athah and Basmalah in the beginning of the surah or their recitation.
Good performance and sound when reciting.

Participants’ recitation should be smooth and marks will be awarded for a good performance.

  1. Registration:
    1. All Participants must meet the registration criteria (Rules and Guidelines).
  2. Examination:
    1. Participants are required to memorize the FULL Surah/Surahs of their level. Any participant that does not will be disqualified.
    2. All Participants will be required to read without looking in the Quran book/Mus-haf.
  3. Examinations are subject to Examination and Results Guidelines (Rules and Guidelines).

FAQ

Am I allowed to look in the Quran book/Mus-haf during the exam?

No. The memorization category is a test of memorization, so participants are expected to recite the Surahs by heart.

Participants will be assessed based on memorization, Tajweed and performance. For more information, please read the “Memorization Category Rules & Guidelines” section.

No. Our judges will be asking participants to recite some sections of the Surah(s). Participants are still expected to memorize the entire Surah(s) of the level they register in.

Exception: Participants in the age group 5 and under will read the whole surah
